Please contact us if you would like to delete your account.
Some important things to be aware of:
- You can close your account by emailing team@portify.co If you have an outstanding credit boost subscription (under either our £4/month Portify or £7/month Portify Plus memberships), or an outstanding £5/month Portify Lite or £9/month Portify Plus membership this will constitute as an early termination. For more details on this go here.
- If you have an outstanding Flex Finance balance you will need to repay this before we can close your account. You can do this through your Portify app or by contacting team@portify.co
- Under GDPR you have the right to request the erasure of your personal data and we take these requests very seriously. Please email team@portify.co to request this and we will get back to you within 45 days. If, however, we have used this information to make a lending decision (for example to give you access to Portify Lite, Portify Plus, Credit Boost, Flex Finance) we will need to retain some personal data to fulfil our legal obligations. The lawful basis for processing and retaining your data is due to entering into a contract (the credit agreement). As a result, we have an obligation to retain the information used for a minimum of six years. For more information about this see our privacy policy.
After verifying your identity, we will delete your Portify account and it will no longer be accessible. All your personal data associated with this account will also be deleted.
Account deletions usually take place within 24 hours and we will let you know as soon as this is complete.
